Vignan VSAT 2012 Notification, Results and Counseling Info

Vignan University, Vadlamudi, Guntur District issued VSAT 2012 notification for admission to B.Tech and M.Tech courses for the academic year 2012-13. Vignan University, a part of famous Vignan Group under the guidance of Lavu Ratthaiah is known for quality of teaching and good placements for its students. Vignan University conducts online VSAT for shortlisting the candidates for B.Tech and M.Tech courses. The University also offer merit based scholarships for admitted candidates. Students can avail fee exemptions and fellowships and assistant ships based on their ranks in VSAT 2012, IIT JEE 2012 and AIEEE 2012. Following are details of eligibility, application process, results of VSAT 2012 and probable counseling schedule:

1) B.Tech Courses Offered by Vignan University for the academic year 2012-13: Chemical Engineering, Mechatronics, Civil Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Biotechnology, Information Technology (IT), Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). The university is proposed to start Textile Technology and Agricultural Engineering from 2012-13.

Eligibility for B.Tech Admission through VAST 2012 : Applicants should clear VSAT 2012 for admission to B.Tech programmes. The exam will be conducted across the country along with all major centers in Andhra Pradesh. Candidates should have born on or after 1 July 1991 and they must have passed in Intermediate / 10+2 with minimum 60 percent marks. Those appearing for final year exams also can apply. Following are details of fee waivers for VSAT 2012 top rankers:

1) Top 100 rankers of V-SAT 2012: Full Fee Waiver (No need to pay any tuition fee)
2) Rankers 101 - 300: 50 percent fee waiver
3) 301-500 rankers: 25 percent fee waiver

1) Sale of Vignan University VSAT 2012 Application forms starts : 1st December 2012 onwards
2) Last date for receiving of filled in applications: 7th April 2012
3) VSAT 2012 Entrance Exam Date and Time : 22nd April 2012 (10.00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M)
4) Vignan University VSAT 2012 results: 15th May 2012
5) Vignan University VSAT 2012 Counseling: 1st June 2012 to 10th June 2012 (Tentative)
