Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), a central university released admission notification for Programmes in Management. The IGNOU conducts various programmes under its school of management. Admissions will be done in following courses through OPENMAT. This exam is an entry point for the admission to distance programmes offered by IGNOU, branded itself as People's University. IGNOU offer comparatively better management programmes in distance mode. Here are details of courses and specialisations.
a) MBA
b) PG Diploma in Management (PGDIM) .
c) PG Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM)
d) PG Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM)
e) PG Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM)
f) PG Diorama in Marketing Management (PGDMM)
g) Diploma in Management (DIM)
Essential Educational qualifications:
1. Should have recognised PG degree in any discipline with at least 50 % marks. OR
2. Any Bachelors degree with minimum 3 years of experience in any managerial profession. OR
3. Graduation in Engineering or Technology/ Medicine / Architecture/ Law/ Pharmacy. OR 4. Should have qualified in CA- Accountancy/ CWA- Cost and Works Accountancy/ CS- Company Secretaryship etc.
5. Intermediate or +2 passed candidates with minimum 6 years of experience can also eligible to apply. But these candidates have to pursue Diploma in Management only after clearing the OPENMAT.
IGNOU notification for OPENMAT will be announced during August every year. Candidates can obtain application forms from any regional centers of the University or can be downloaded from the website at www.ignou.ac.in .
