NIFT Bridge Course for alumni

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has come up with an innovative idea for its old students. NIFT students, who have passed their UG or PG diploma from the institute before 2006 can easily turn it into Degree courses. UG diplomas can be upgraded to Bachelors and PG diplomas into Masters courses.

This facility is has been provided by the NIFT centers located in New Delhi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata ,Chennai, and Gandhinagar. Almost after 3 years it first started awarding various degrees, NIFT is trying bridging the gap between its diploma students and degree awarded batches. For this purpose NIFT is conducting a bridge programme. This will be helpful for the candidates willing to get into MBA after studying fashion design and technology.

Registration for this programme will be done on first come first basis at NIFT centers. This programme has 1,140 seats for both UG and PG. The bridge programme will begin from August 2009 and the duration will be six months for PG and one year for UG graduates.
