IIT- Kharagpur Joint M.Tech - Ph.D. Admissions

IIT Kharagpur- The first and most prestigious in the series of brand IIT in India announced notification for admission into Joint Masters and Ph.D. program (M.Tech.-Ph.D.) in the areas of Engineering and City Planning for 2010-2011. Candidates admitted into this course will have a choice to get enrolled for Ph.D. after completion of first year M.Tech./ MCP programme.

Program: M.Tech. / MCP – Ph.D. (All Engineering and important Science specializations offered).
Degree to be awarded: M.Tech. / MCP – Ph.D.

Eligibility requirements: Any candidate with a graduation (B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Arch.) in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture or M.Sc. or any equivalent professional degrees (AMIE etc.) shall apply. You should have valid GATE score. Reservations will be applicable as per rules.

Apply: Candidates must apply online only. Any other form of application will not be accepted. Selection will be made based on GATE score and Personal Interview to be conducted at Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, Kharagpur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, and Visakhapatnam.
