TIFR Ph.D. Admissions - Tata Institute of Fundamental Research

India-based Neutrino Observatory (INO) Collaboration, an associate of Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) announced notification for admission into Graduate Training Programme 2010 (GTP-2010). This program will lead Ph.D. degree.

Essential Eligibility: Candidates with M.Sc. in Physics or B.E./B.Tech. degree in any one of Electronics, E & CE, Instrumentation, Electrical engineering can apply. THose appearing for final year exms may also apply. Candidates should have appeared in any one exams / tests of GATE, JEST, CSIR-UGC, BARC in 2009/ 2010

Terms and Conditions for this course:

Selected candidates will have to undergo course work at TIFR, Mumbai for one year. This will start from August 2010. Exceptionally talented candidates will be absorbed into INO project on successfully completion of Ph.D.degree. Final selection to this program will be based on a written test and interview.
