NISER - Bhubaneswar Ph.D. Admissions

NISER- National Institute of Science Education and Research-Bhubaneswar, an institute dedicated for the promotion of research and development in basic sciences issued admission notification for Ph.D. Courses. NISER - Bhubaneswar offering Ph.D. in following disciplines: Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences.

Eligibility for various disciplines: Biological Sciences: Candidates should have 55 percent marks in PG in Biology related subject and bioinformatics. Those with PG i natural or computer sciences and having keen interest in research in biology may also apply.

1. Chemical Sciences: Should have PG in Chemistry/ Physics/ Applied Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Material Science with minimum 55 percent marks.
2. Mathematical Sciences: Candidates with 55 percent marks in M.Sc.Mathematics can apply.
3. Physical Sciences: Those candidates with PG in Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematical Physics or Master’s degree in Engineering with at least 55 percent marks are eligible to apply.

Along with above educational qualifications, candidates should have cleared CSIR-NET/ GATE/ JEST/ NBHM in the relevant subject.
