Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) Ltd, an international bank has announced the HSBC Scholarship Programme for studies in abroad. The scholarship programme has been introduced to help students who are willing to study the United Kingdom (UK).
Scholarship Value: This scholarship programme will select 2 students from India and will provide them Rs.20 lakh per year as scholarship to pursue any graduate and post graduate programmes. This will be awarded for study at Oxford University, Cambridge University or University of London.The basic aim of this prestigious programme is to build a community of leaders who will attain global knowledge and in turn contribute to the society.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected based on their academic record and future potential, leadership qualities along with writing a 500 word statement-of-purpose. The Progress of the selected candidates will be evaluated and monitored by HSBC team to ensure the continuation of the scholarship for the full term, that is three years. The interested candidates must be under 25 years of age.
