IBAB Bangalore PGD in Bioinformatics Admissions

IBAB - Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnololy, Bangalore issued notification for admission into following courses for the academic year 2010-11. IBAB selects candidates based on Written Test and Interview. Following are courses offered...

PG Diploma in Bioinformatics: Duration is 18 months.
PG Diploma in Biotechniques: 8 - 14 months course
PG Diploma in Cheminformatics: 18 months course.

Eligibility Requirements: For PG Diploma in Bioinformatics: Should have any one of Graduate Degree in Engineering, Computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Medicine, Agriculture, Veterinary and other Life sciences with minimum of 55% marks.

PG Diploma in Biotechniques: Should have M.Sc. or B.Tech in Life Sciences. Candidates with MBBS and B.Sc. Biotechnology also will be considered.

PG Diploma in Cheminformatics: applicants should have Bachelors / Masters in any branch of Chemistry. OR should have Bachelors / Masters in Pharmacy OR BE / BTech in Chemical Engineering. SHould have atleast 55% marks in any of the above degree.
