IICT - CDAC Bioinformatics Admissions -ACB Advanced Course in Bioinformatics

Three Reputed Institutions from Andhra Pradesh, IICT, C-DAC and JNTU Hyderabad jointly conducting Advanced Course in Bioinformatics (ACB). Admission notification of ACB 2012 has been issued. ACB is a good course with excellent faculty, infrastructure and facilities from three institutes of repute. This is highly useful for those willing to make a career in Research, Development and Academics and Corporate Career as well. Past batches of ACB settled in Corporate jobs, pursuing Ph.D. in abroad and working in projects at CSIR organization like CCMB, CDFD, IICT etc.

Eligibility requirements: Candidates with following degrees are eligible to apply. They should have B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, Chemical Technology, Biotechnology , Pharmacy OR M.B.B.S, B.D.S, B.V.Sc, M.V.Sc OR Post Graduation (M.Sc.,) in Computer Science, Biological Science (Any branch of Life Science), Environmental Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Maths, Statistics, Physics.

Knowledge in Bioinformatics, Which requires exposure in Biology, Computer Fundamentals and Programming concepts in C Language is preferable. Course duration is 6 months. Number of seats: 24. Fee is Rs. 40000 for general seats, Rs. 50000 for sponsored candidates.
