The department conduct admissions for Agricultural engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Architecture, Automobile engineering, business administration, biotechnology, civil, chemical engineering, cinematography, ceramic technology, computer science and engineering, jewellery design, leather technology, mechanical engineering, mining engineering, metallurgical engineering etc.
Application forms for admission t odiploam courses will be available in all the offices of Government and aided Polytechnics of the State. The applications may also be purchased in any polytechnic college and sent to any other Nodal center polytechnic where the candidate seeking admission.
Admission Procedure: Admission to all the diploma courses is based on merit in each category of reservation. Out of the total seats 50 percent will be reserved for various groups of the society. Remaining 50 percent will be allotted based on the marks scored in the SSLC in Science and Maths for technical Courses. For admission to non technical courses, total marks secured by the candidate in SSLC is taken into consideration.
