BS-M.Sc. in VIT - State University of New York

One of the prestigious deemed to be universities in India, VIT University is offering highly innovative courses in collaboration with State University of New York, USA. The courses or B. S. in Manufacturing Engineering Technology by US University and M.Sc. in Manufacturing Engineering Technology by VIT University. Apart from this, the universities also offering B. S. in Software Technology by US University-SUNY and M.Sc. in Software Technology by VIT University. Essential eligibility for these courses is B. Sc. in Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Applied Science / Computer Science. Selected students have to complete the course within two years. Following details of application and selection process.

The courses will be jointly conducted by the faculty from Indian an US universities. Both the institutes have excellent infrastructure and candidates shall continue their higher studies in USA after completion of BS. Eligible candidates can obtain applications from VIT University, Vellore office OR by sending a DD for Rs. 500 in favour of 'VIT University' payable at Vellore to the 'Admissions Officer, VIT University, Vellore- 632014, Tamilnadu, India' along with a letter containing full correspondence address of the candidate. Selection will be made based on the marks obtained in Graduation and Interview. Applications must carry copies of certificates of 10th class, Intermediate, Graduation Mark sheets, Provisional/ Degree certificate and Community certificate (For SC/ ST applicants only). Starting date for issue of forms is 31-08-2010 and Closing date for receipt of filled in applications is 24-09-2010.
