M.L Private Study in University of Madras 2010-11

University of Madras is offering M.L. Degree Course in the following branches. These are conducted under private study (Non semester) during the academic year 2010-2011 in the Department of Legal Studies of the institute. This is one of the oldest universities established during British rule in India and completed 152 years of existence recently. Application Forms can be purchased in person at the Information Centre of the University on payment of Rs.200/- by cash. Applications can also be downloaded from the University official website at unom.ac.in. But they have to submit the application fee in the form of DD along with filled in form. Last date for receipt of forms is 30-10-2010.

These are the branches offered: 1. International Law and Constitutional Law 2. Business Law 3. Criminal Law 4. Property Law 5. Intellectual Property Law 6. Human Rights and Environmental Law 7. Labour and Administrative Law. Eligibility Requirements: Candidates should have passed in B.L. / L.L.B. degree from a recognized University. Candidates those appeared for the M.L. degree examination and passed in any paper earlier are also eligible for the award of M.L. degree if they meet other requirements as prescribed by the University.

Admitted candidates have to complete the course within five years from the academic year in which they register for the course.
