M.Tech, MCA in Anna University of Technology

Admission Notification No: 001 / 2010: Anna University of Technology, Madurai has released notification for admission into M.Tech. and MCA programmes for 2010-11. M.Tech is a Week End program and the specialisations offered are Engineering Design, Power Management, VLSI and Communication System. MCA is Full Time course conducted by the University at Madurai campus only. Interested candidates can download applications from official website of the institute and should be sent to "Vice-Chancellor, Anna University of Technology Madurai, Alagar Kovil Road, Madurai – 625 002" on or before 06-09-2010 along with required fee and copies of certificates.

Candidates have to submit separate application form for each course (M.Tech, and MCA) if they are willing to apply for morethan one course. Only one application is enough for all M.Tech. Courses / Specialisations.
M.Tech course duration is 2-4 years. Eligibility for M.Tech - Engineering Design is B.E/ B.Tech (Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial/ Mechatronics/ Manufacturing Engineering/ Automobile Engineering). For M.Tech– Power Management, eligibility is B.E/ B.Tech (EEE / I and C / E and I) ; For M.Tech- VLSI, eligibility requirement is B.E/ B.Tech in EEE/ ECE/ E and I / I and C/ CSE / IT / Computer Technology/ Software Engineering. For M.Tech - Communication System, the qualification is B.E/ B.Tech (CSE/ ECE/ IT/ EI OR M.C.A.

For MCA, the selection will be made based on TANCET 2010 score only. Duration of the program is 3 to 6 years. They should have degree under the pattern 11+2+2 years or the 11+1+3 years or the 10+2+3 years or under the open University System.
