Vidya Sagar Foundation-Vifou Advanced Courses Admissions 2010

Vidya Sagar Foundation (Vifou), Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh is inviting applications from interested candidates for admission into Plant breeding and Seed Technology courses. These are 12 month / 1 year courses. All the students admitted to the courses shall be eligible to paid a monthly stipend of Rs. 8000. The selected candidates have to work for the organization and have to execute a service agreement to Vibha Seeds Group Companies for a period of three years on successful completion of the course. Successful candidates will be offered employment opportunity in the company in the R and D units of Vibha, and posted to any of their Units.

There are two courses: 1. Advanced Plant Breeding 2. Advanced Seed Technology. Eligibility Requirements: Master of Science in Plant Breeding/ Genetics/ Botany/ Biotechnology/ Seed Science and Seed Technology with minimum 60 % marks. OR They should have M.Sc. / M.Sc. (Ag.) in Horticulture with specialization in Vegetables with 60 % marks are also eligible to apply. Candidates will be selected based on Written Test (Objective Type) and Personal Interview.
