B.Sc. Nursing-BPT in NIMS Admissions 2010

Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad issued notification for admission into B.Sc. Nursing and Bachelor of Physiotherapy courses for the year 2010. Number of seats in each course is 43 (Nursing) and 39 (Physiotherapy). Application forms and relevant admission guidelines are available at NIMS official website www.nimsexams.net. Applications also can be had from Sub-Dean office at Examination Cell of NIMS. Last date for receipt of applications is 14-09-2010.

Applications should carry related documents and DD/ NIMS Cash receipt for Rs.700/- towards fee. The merit list of the eligible candidates based on Intermediate marks will be displayed on 17-09-2010. Counseling will be held on 20-09-2010. The selected candidates for B.Sc.(Nursing) course will be paid stipend as prescribed by the government.

Essential Eligibility: Candidates who passed intermediate examination with Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry are eligible to apply for both courses. Applicants those passed in vocational physiotherapy with bridge course also eligible. And those passed in vocational nursing with bridge course with Physical Sciences and Biological Sciences are also eligible to apply.

Non-AP candidates can also apply to any of the courses. But their admission is subject to nonavailability of eligible candidates from Andhra Pradesh. There will be second counseling for the vacant seats on 27-09-2010. More details and application form available on www.nimsexams.net.
