EAMCET 2010 Seat Allotments-Second Phase Counseling

Second Phase Seat allotments for EAMCET 2010 Counseling will be announced today (11th October 2010). Probabilities of third or final phase counseling also will be announced along with results. There are number of seats remain vacant in many Engineering colleges. New system of entering joining details by colleges creating confusion among the students regarding vacancy position in various reputed colleges. Data displayed on www.apeamcet.nic.in indicating seats are unfilled in so many good colleges, though the number is small. If this is reliable and final data, some candidates will have a chance to grab engineering seat in a better college than they have been allotted earlier in the first phase.

Seat Allotments for EAMCET 2010 Engineering candidates will be announced today (25th September 2010) after 6 PM. MPC stream candidates can get their seat allotment / allocation details on www.apeamcet.nic.in . Candidates can download their allotment order from the website through submitting 1. ICR Form Number (Registration Number) 2. Hall Ticket number 3. Password and 4. Date of birth in Candidate Login. After downloading allotment order, please read the instructions printed there and also download challan form for payment of fee if applicable. You have to pay the fee if applicable in any Branch of Andhra Bank/Indian Bank. Candidates have to report to the allotted engineering / pharmacy college on or before the date specified in the allotment order. Failure to report in the allotted college by the date stipulated will result in cancellation of seat and candidate has no claim on the seat allotted. Those candidates can appear for second phase of counseling and further phases if any.

Details of seat allotment will also be emailed to the candidates who registered their IDs at the time of certificate verification. Allotment through SMS may not be possible as the central government prohibited bulk SMS till 29th September 2010.
Candidates have to report at allotted college along with fee details on or before the date mentioned on the day of seat allocations. Class work for Engineering first year will start on 30th September 2010 or during First week of October 2010.

Engineering aspirants in Andhra Pradesh will have another round of counseling for this academic year. EAMCET Second phase counseling is likely to start from 4th or 5th October 2010 according to the latest news report on Eenadu daily. Official notification in this regard will be released during early days of first week of October 2010. It is estimated that there will be huge number of seats remain vacant this year due to slump in job market for Engineering Graduates and increase in number of colleges and seats out of proportion. It is also decided that EAMCET candidates will have the chance to attend certificate verification if they are willing to join in Engineering or Pharmacy. The Sakshi daily reported that candidates can attend any helpline center to participate in web counseling of next phases. The decision has taken in the wake of absence of about 1 lakh candidates for recently completed certificate verification.

At present First phase counseling process is under process. Candidates can change their web options on 20th and 21st September 2010 at any help line centers. Final Seat allotments will be done on 25th September 2010. EAMCET 2010 Seat Allocations can be had from www.apeamcet.nic.in , www.eenadu.net , www.sakshi.com , www.sakshieducation.com , and www.apsche.org etc. Candidates can avail seat allotment details to their Mobile Phones registered at the time of certificate verification.
