PNBIIT Adv Diploma in Banking Technology 2010-11

Punjab National Bank Institute of Information Technology (PNBIIT), Lucknow is offering an innovative academic program - Advanced Diploma in Banking Technology (ADBT). The main purpose of the program is to impart professional knowledge and expertise required for Banking and IT sectors. The trained candidates will be highly employable and can be placed in reputed Banks and Financial Companies. PNBIIT has been set up by Punjab National Bank, a leading nationalised bank in India. The institute has state of the art facilities and high end technology. Duration of the course is 6 months and it is a full time residential program. Admitted candidates will be provided with hostel facility. This is the 4th batch of this course and all the students of earlier batches were placed in reputed banks, finance and insurance companies.

Eligibility: Applicants should have MCA/ BE/ B.Tech. in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication or IT with minimum 60 percent marks. Age should not be more than 25 years as on 01-11-2010. Selection of candidates will be based on tests in multiple phases. In the first stage, Online Aptitude Test will be held. This contains questions from English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and IT skills. Those qualified in Online Test will be called for Personal Interview. Final selection will be based on cumulative weightage to the academic record, aptitude test and interview. Total number of seats in the program is 35.

Fee for the program is Rs. 105000. With hostel facility, the fee is Rs. 145000. Registration fee is Rs. 5000. Pnujab National Bank will provide Education Loan for eligible candidates as the program itself supported and conducted by the Bank. Candidates can download application form from institute website www.pnbiit.com . Filled in forms should be enclosed with A/C payee draft for Rs. 1000 drawn in favour of 'PNBIIT A/C ADBT' and payable at Lucknow and sent to 'The Programme Coordinator (ADBT), Punjab National Bank Institute of Information Technology (PNBIIT), Vibhuti Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow - 226010, UP (India) with all required documents on or before 07 October 2010.
