SVU Distance Education Admissions 2010-11

Directorate of Distance Education, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati announced admission notification for the academic year 2010-11. All the courses are recognized by Distance Education Council, New Delhi. Apart from M.A., M.Sc., MBA and MCA, Graduate courses (BA/ B.Com) also offered under Open University System for candidates without any formal education. Interested candidates can download application form and prospectus from websites www.svudde.org OR www.svuniversity.in from 25-09-2010. SVU shall conduct entrance test for B.Ed. and Open University System Courses. Following are details of courses:

1. M.A.: Telugu, English, Hindi, Economics, History, Political Science and Public Administration, and Sociology, Master of Social Work.
2. M.Sc.: Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Psychology, Mathematics and Computer Science.
3. M.Com.
4. M.S. Public Relations
5. L.L.M.
6. Executive MBA (2 years)
7. MBA, MCA (3 years)
8. B.A., B.Com., B.Li.Sc.
9. B.Ed. (Third Methodology)
10. B.Ed. (2 years) for graduates with 2 years of teaching experience.
11. P.G. Diploma Courses: IR and PM, Guidance and Counseling.

Applications can also be had from branches of SBI and Andhra Bank at SV University, Tirupati. You can also get applications by post through sending a DD in the prescribed manner described in the official notification. Cost of application: Rs. 350 for B.Ed. and Rs. 200 for all other courses.
