TISS PG Admissions 2011-13 for M.A., M.Sc. in Mumbai

Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai is one of the top rung education provider in India. It is known for quality and committed to facilitate world class learning in chosen fields of education. TISS Admission Notification for 2011-13 academic session has been released. Following are particulars of courses.

1. M.A. Courses: Social Work / Social Work in Disability Studies and Action / Globalisation and Labour / Human Resources Management and Labour Relations / Social Entrepreneurship /Counseling/ Development Studies/ Education (Elementary)/ Women’s Studies/ Media and Cultural Studies/ Social Work in Rural Development
2. Master of Health Administration
3. Master of Hospital Administration
4. Master of Public Health in Health Policy, Economics and Finance
5. Master of Public Health in Social Epidemiology
6. M.A./M.Sc. Courses: Habitat Policy and Practice / Disaster Management

Essentail Eligibility: Applicants must have Bachelor's Degree in any discipline. Those appearing for final year examinations may also apply for all the programs except courses offered by School of Health Systems Studies. These details along with number of seats, fee particulars and entrance pattern and model questions are available on TISS website www.tiss.edu . Selection to all the programs will be based on performance in written test, GD (For some programs) and Interview. Written Test contains two parts. Part-1: Common Objective Test with questions from 1. General awareness/ knowledge, 2. Analytical/ logical reasoning and quantitative ability and 3. Verbal reasoning. Part-2 is related to programs selected by the applicants.

Candidates are required to apply online only through E-application available on the Institute's website. Offline application process also accepted. Last date for receipt of both type of applications is 22 October 2010. Written test will be on 12 December 2010.
