L and T Build India Scholarships for M.Tech. in IITs

Here is good opportunity for those interested in doing M.Tech. in IITs with a corporate scholarship. L and T, one of the largest corporate companies in India is offering scholarships in the name of 'L and T Build India Scholarship' for M.Tech in Construction Technology and Management at IIT Delhi and IIT Madras. The Construction Division of L and T will sponsor these fellowships for deserving candidates. This is a 2 year course and starts from July 2011.

Important Qualifications: Graduates with minimum aggregate average of 65 percent marks in BE/ B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering are eligible. They should be passing out in 2011 from a recognized Indian University / college. Age should not be more than 23 years as on 01-07-2011. Selection will be based on written tests / interview conducted by respective IITs (Delhi / Madras) in coordination with L and T / ECC. Candidates should also be medically fit. Selected candidates will have to serve the company for at least 5 years and they should execute an undertaking for a value of Rs. 300000 in this regard.

Scholarship amount: For the 2 year / 24 month course course, L and T company will pay a stipend of Rs.9000/- per month.
