Eligibility: For Engineering courses applicants must have studied +2 / Intermediate with Mathematics and Physics. Apart from that they should have studied any one subject from Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science and Biology. For B.Architecture and B.Planning courses candidates should have studied Mathematics at +2 level and passed with minimum 50 percent marks. Candidates appearing for the final year examinations of +2 also eligible to apply.
Scheme of the Examination: There will be two papers in the examination.
Paper 1 (For BE/ B.Tech Courses): There will be Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions with equal weightage to Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.
Paper 2 (For B.Arch./ B.Planning): It will have 3 parts. Following are these:
Mathematics - Part I - Objective Type Questions.
Aptitude Test - Part II - Objective Type Questions.
Drawing Test - Part III - Objective Type Questions: (There are questions to test drawing aptitude of the candidate).
Online Application and Examination procedure: AIEEE 2011 shall be held online in some selected cities. Online exam is proposed only for BE/ B.Tech courses. Candidates like to appear for online exam have to apply online through www.aieee.nic.in . They have to pay the fee through debit / credit card only. Online Applications will be open from 23 November 2010 and will be closed on January 14, 2011.
Important Dates:
1. Date of AIEEE Examination: 24 April 2011.
2. Sale of AIEEE Application Form: 15 December 2010 to 14 January 2011.
3. Online submission of application: 23-11-2010 to 14-01-2011
4. Last date for sale of applications through Syndicate Bank, Regional Offices of the CBSE and other designated institutions: 14 January 2011
5. Receipt of completed applications form / Confirmation Page with Bank Draft: 20 January 2011.
6. Declaration of AIEEE 2011 Results: On or before 07 June 2011
Central Counseling Board shall conduct online counseling for all the courses. Detailed counseling procedure will be released along with results of the examination.
