CDFD Research Scholars Program 2010

Center for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD), Hyderabad is inviting applications from eligible candidates for Research Scholars Program II - 2010. CDFD is conducting research in the areas of Bacterial Genetics, Cancer Biology, Cell Cycle Regulation, Cell Death and Cell Survival, Cell Signalling, Computational Biology, Computational and Functional Genomics, Fungal Pathogenesis, Immunology, Molecular Cell Biology, Molecular Genetics, Molecular Oncology, Plant Microbe Interactions, Structural Biology, Transcription etc. Following are other details of the programme.

Essential Eligibility: Applicants should have M.B.B.S. or Masters degree in any branch of Science, Technology, or Agriculture. Candidates other than MBBS must have cleared the CSIR/ UGC/ DBT/ ICMR/ ICAR NET for JRF or GATE (with 90% marks) or JEST. MBBS candidates are exempted from all these eligibility tests. Those awaiting for results of the above tests are also eligible to apply. Selection will be based on Written / LAN based examination followed by interview. Those selected will be encouraged to apply for Ph.D. programs of Manipal University or University of Hyderabad.

You can apply online through CDFD website www.cdfd.org.in . Applications on plain paper as per the format given on the website also will be accepted. Filled in forms should be sent to 'Admissions Co-ordinator, Academic cell, CDFD (Office Block), Bldg.-7, Gruhakalpa, 5-4-399/B Nampally, Hyderabad 500 001' to reach on or before 30-11-2010.

1. List of eligible candidates will be displayed on the website on 09-12-2010.
2. Computer based LAN exam will be conducted on 09-01-2011.
3. Interview for qualified candidates in LAN willl be on 10-01-2011.
