DNB, B,Sc, Diploma Admissions at KIMS Hyderabad

Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Hyderabad is inviting applications for admission to various DNB Courses commencing from January 2011 in different disciplines. KIMS offers Post Graduate Courses of Diplomate of National Board of Examinations (DNB), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. KIMS is a 500 bed multi specialty hospital located in Secunderabad with excellent technology and facilities. Following are broad disciplines offered in DNB at KIMS:

1. General Medicine
2. Paediatrics
3. Radio-Diagnosis
4. Anaesthesiology
5. General Surgery
6. Orthopaedic Surgery

Eligibility Requirements: MBBS, NBE-CET
KIMs shall also start DNB Courses in Obstetrics and Gynaecology shortly. For DNB Family Medicine, any medical graduate with MBBS, who has completed internship and is registered with MCI / State Medical Council are eligible. Age limit is 50 years. For all other disciplines, MD/ MS / DNB is an essential eligibility. DNB Course in Gastroenterology will also be started shortly at KIMS.

Other Courses:

1. KIMS is also offering P.G. Diploma in Community Cardiology in association with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Duration of this course is 2 years.
2. KIMS offers B.Sc. Nursing, Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), B.Sc Medical Laboratory Technology (B.Sc MLT) in affiliation with NTR University of Health Sciences.
3. KIMS is conducting P.G. Diploma in Hospital Billing & Health Insurance and P.G. Diploma in Physician Assistant and General Nursing and Midwifery courses in affiliation with Osmania University.
