CMC MBBS Admissions 2012 - Christian Medical College Vellore

Christian Medical College, Vellore, Tamilnadu- one of the best medical institute in the country issued admission notification for MBBS course for the year 2011-12. Highly popular as CMC, Vellore - the college has 60 seats in MBBS. Out of these 10 seats will be allocated for student under all India category in general quota. Other seats will be reserved ofr Christian Missionary sponsored students. In the 10 seats reserved for general candidates, 1 seat will go for a candidate nominated by the Government and 2 seats will be for SC/ ST candidates. Apart from MBBS, CMC Vellore is also offering various other courses such as BSc Nursing; OT/ PT/ MLT/ B.Sc. Optometry; Diploma in Nursing and Other diplomas; BMRSc and different M.Sc. courses. Details of courses are given below:

1. Graduate Courses: MBBS / BSc in (Nursing)/ BOT/ BPT/ B.Sc. MLT/ B.Sc. Optometry

2. Masters Courses: MSc Biochemistry/ MSc Microbiology/ MSc Epidemiology/ MSc Biostatistics/

3. Diploma Courses: Diploma in Nursing/ Radiodiagnosis (MRT)/ Radiotherapy (MRT)/ Anaesthesia Technology/ Leprosy Physiotherapy/ Optometry / Critical Care Therapy / Prosthetics and Orthotics/

Eligibility: Applicants should have passed in Intermediate/ 10+2 with at least 70 percent marks in aggregate and 60 percent marks each in Biology and Physical Sciences.
