Synopsys- JNTUH- B.Tech, M.Tech in Microelectronics VLSI Engineering

Synopsys Inc. and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad have announced joint Microelectronics program in VLSI Engineering to be conducted at JNTU Hyderabad. The latest program is aimed at training the candidates to provide skilled specialists for semiconductor industry companies. Synopsis is a US based micro electronics company and world leader in electronic design automation (EDA). Under this initiative, both the institutes jointly offer Bachelors and Masters Programs in JNTU- Hyderabad and likely to provide skill development opportunities for about 300,000 students every year.

Under the program, Synopsys has donated comprehensive, industry-leading analog, digital and embedded electronic design automation (EDA) software, including Educational Design Kit (EDK) and interoperable Process Design Kit (iPDK) to JNTU Hyderabad. The expensive software has been donated to JNTUH free of cost. Synopsis also shall provide customized curricula developed by the Synopsys Armenia Education Department as part of the Synopsys Worldwide University Program. It also guide the Bachelors and Masters programs at JNTU, Kukatpally, Hyderabad.

JNTU Hyderabad will also use academic services from Seer Akademi, a curriculum partner of the Synopsys University Program, to successfully oversee the Synopsys curriculum and to ensure successful use. To know more about Synopsys, please view www.synopsys.com.
