IIIT Hyderabad MSIT Admissions 2011 | Walk In Entrance and Apply Online

International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh has announced notification for admission to MSIT (Master of Science in Information Technology) program for the year 2011-12. MSIT is a highly rigorous Post Graduate program offered at IIIT Hyderabad, JNTU Hyderabad, Osmania University, Andhra University and Sri Venkateswara University. All these are joined as Consortium of Institutions of Higher Learning (CIHL). MSIT is a prestigious program and IIIT, Osmania University and JNTU have been attracting good placements for these canidates. IIIT Hyderabad and JNTU Hyderabad have been able to place all MSIT students comfortably in reputed Indian companies and MNCs. The duration of the program is 2 years. To be simple, it is better and recommended to pursue MSIT in IIIT or JNTU than MS in a average university / institute in abroad. Following are details of eligibility and application procedure:

Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should have B.E./ B.Tech (All branches) in any specialisation. OR Candidates shold have PG (M.Sc.) in Computer Science / Mathematics / Statistics. MCA Candidates also eligible.

Selection Method: Selection process consist of three stages. These are:
1. Stage I - Graduate Aptitude Test
2. Stage II - Listening Comphrension and Counseling
3. Stage III - Preparatory Course

IIIT - Hyderabad will conduct an all India entrance test onbehalf of all other participating institutes for selecting candidates to MSIT Program for the year 2011-12. It also conducts Walk In Entrance / Regular Entrance Test for the convenience of candidates. Application Process: Candidates have to apply online through MSIT website www.msitprogram.net . Cost of application is Rs. 600. This has to be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of 'CIHL' and payable at Hyderabad. You need to send printed form of online application to the below address along with required attachments.
