JNTU Kakinada, BTH Sweden, AIT Bangkok 5 Year Integrated Programs 2011-12

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK), Kakinada, in Association with Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH), Sweden and with Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok is offering 5 Year International Integrated Masters Degree Programs (IIMDP) for Engineering candidates of various disciplines. The Admission notification for the year 2011-12 has been released. This is a good opportunity for the intermediate / + 2 candidates as they will get exposure to engineering education in three countries as part of Graduate and Master Programs. Following are details of courses, fee and application procedure:

Course Structure: These 5 Years IIMDP are included B.Tech. + MSc / MS (Engineering) . B.Tech . Degree will be awarded by JNTU Kakinada and MSc / MS (Engineering) will be awarded by BTH, Sweden/ AIT, Bangkok. There are 40 seats in ECE, 40 seats in CSE and 60 Seats in Civil Engineering along with 15 percent Supernumerary Seats for NRI / PIO /International Students.

1. IIMDP in Cooperation with Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH), Sweden: . B.Tech. (Electronics and Communications Engineering) and M.Sc. (Telecommunication Systems / Signal Processing) - studies at JNTUK and BTH, Sweden.

2. IIMDP in Association with Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand: B.Tech. (Civil Engineering) and M.S. (Construction Engineering and Management / RS and GIS / Environmental Engineering and Management) - studies at JNTUK and AIT.

Eligibility: Applicants should have 60 percent marks in Intermediate Examination (10+ 2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects or Diploma in relevant field or Equivalent. Candidates who will be completing their intermediate education or equivalent by 30th May 2011 only shall be eligible to appear for the IIMDP-2011 admission counselling. Selection will be based on the IIMDP Entrance Test to be held on Sunday 08 May 2011 at Kakinada, Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam. The Test consist of 100 Multiple Choice Type Questions with distribution of 20 questions in Physis, 20 questions in Chemistry, 20 questions in English and 40 questions in Mathematics. Duration of the test is 100 minutes. Tuition fee for the courses is Rs. 2,12,500 per year.

1. Last Date for Submission of Application along with DD of Rs 1000 (without late fee): 30th April 2011
2. Last Date for Submission of Application with DD of Rs. 2000 that includes late fee of Rs.1000/- : 28th June 2011
3. Date of IIMDP Entrance Test (Photostat copy of filled in application form as Hall Ticket): 30th June 2011 (Sunday)
4. Date of Admission Counselling - First Phase, at JNTUK, Kakinada (Tuition Fee to be paid): 4th July 2011 (Sunday)
5. Date of Admission Counselling - Second Phase, at JNTUK, Kakinada (Tuition Fee to be paid): 2011
6. Commencement of 1st Semester Class work at JNTUK : 11th July 2011.
