YVU is offering Ph.d in following schools of studies / departments:

3. School of Life Sciences: (Botany/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Zoology/ Environmental Science/ Psychology/ Genetics and Genomics)
4. School of Management Studies: (Commerce / Business Management/ Management Entrepreneurship)
5. School of Social Sciences: (Economics/ History and Archeology / Political Science and Public Administration)
6. School of Humanities: (English/ Telugu / Fine Arts and Performing Arts/ Journalism and Mass Communication)
7. School of Earth Sciences and Biotechnology / Bioinformatics: (Earth Sciences / Biotechnology and Bioinformatics)

YVU has various centers for research. These are:
1. Centre for Regional Studies and Development (Rayalaseema History and Culture Studies)
2. Language Laboratory and Communication Centre
3. Centre for Natural Resources Research and Application
4. Centre of Applied Biotechnology and Genomics
5. Regional Instrumentation Centre
Eligibility and Application procedure: Candidates should have Master's Degree in the concerned discipline / subject as prescribed by the University. Application forms can be obtained from the office of Directorate of Admissions, Y.V. University, Kadapa on payment of Rs. 500 from 25th April 2011. Application forms can also be downloaded from YVU official website www.yogivemanauniversity.in . Those downloaded the forms have to attach a DD for Rs. 500 drawn in favour of 'The Convener, YVURCET - 2011' and payable at SBI YVU Branch. Filled in forms should reach the 'Convener, YVURCET- 2011'. Last date for receipt of forms is 25th May 2011.
Yogi Vemana University is also inviting applications for admission to Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and PG Diploma in Theater Arts (One Year) courses for the year 2011-12. Details of these courses available with DOA, YVU, Kadapa or contact at 08562- 225442 or 99592 58339.
