AP-Department of Culture Certificate and Diploma Admissions 2011

Department of Culture, Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued notification for admission into Diploma and Certificate Courses in Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Dance Courses and Karnataka Vocal, Hindustani Vocal, Violin, Sitar, Dolu, Tabla, Mrudangam, Flute, Nadaswaram and others. Admissions into 12 Government Colleges / Schools of Music and Dance are open for the year 2011-2012. All the colleges and schools are affiliated to Potti Sriramulu Telugu University. Eligibility: Candidates should have 10 years of age as on 1 July 2011 for admission into Certificate courses. Following are fee details:

1. Certificate Courses: Rs. 500
2. Diploma Course: Rs. 800
3. Application form: Rs. 25
4. Admission fee: Rs. 500

Eligibility for Diploma Courses: Candidates who have passed certificate course in the respective discipline are eligible. Applicants must have 15 years of age as on 1 July 2011.

Interested candidates can obtain application forms from the above mentioned institutions by paying Rs. 25 in cash or by DD.
1. Last date for the submission of filled in forms is 30th July 2011.
2. Last date with late fee of Rs. 20: 10th August 2011
3. Last date with late fee of Rs. 50: 31st August 2011
