Osmania P.G.Diploma in Healthcare Admissions 2011-12

Osmania University (OU), Hyderabad is offering 17 Post Graduate Diploma Courses related to Healthcare and allied fields. All the courses are offered in association with various corporate hospitals located in and around Hyderabad. Duration of each course is 1 year. These are job oriented courses and selected students will trained in relevant industry oriented skills. After the successful completion of courses, candidates will be given a paid internship for a period of six months in the same institute or other industries. Admission notification 2011-12 for all the below programs is announced. Following are details of courses and application procedure:

Details of PG Diploma Courses on offer by OU:

1. P.G. Diploma in Emergency Medical Care
2. P.G. Diploma in Medical Informatics
3. P.G. Diploma in Health Insurance and Billing
4. P.G. Diploma in Medical Transcription
5. P.G. Diploma in Physician Assistant
6. Advanced Diploma in Emergency Care (This is offered by GVK EMRI and affiliated to OU)
7. Operation Theater Technology
8. Dialysis Management
9. Cardiac Medical Lab Technology
10. Medical Imaging Technology
11. Cardiac Care
12. Cath Lab Technology

Eligibility: Candidates with any bachelors degree can apply for all the above courses, except PGD in Physician Assistant. Candidates with degree in Biology / Life Science only eligible for PG Diploma in Physician Assistant Course.

Other P.G. Diploma Courses:

1. PG Diploma in Healthcare Management: The program is offered in collaboration with Dr. Reddy’s Foundation, Hyderabad.
2. PG Diploma in Wellness Management: This is offered in collaboration with Apollo Hospitals Education and Research Foundation.
3. Several PG Diploma courses are offered in collaboration with Innova Heart Institute-Hospital, Tarnaka, Hyderabad and also in association with Medwin Institute, Hyderabad.

Admission Notification for the year 2011 - 12 for all the courses will be issued by Osmania University, Hyderabad during first week of July 2011.
