PGRRCDE Osmania Distance Education Admissions 2011-2012

Osmania University has announced notification for admission into various Distance Education programs for the year 2011-12. Prof. G. Ram Reddy Centre for Distance Education (PGRRCDE), Osmania University, Hyderabad conducts various Post Graduate, Under Graduate, Professional, PG Diploma and Diploma courses through distance education mode. All the professional and general courses are approved by regulatory bodies such as AICTE- UGC- CDE. Following are details of the courses, admissions and application procedure for PGRRCDE admissions 2011-2012.

Courses offered at PGRRCDE - OU for 2011-12:

1. MBA / MCA (Duration is 3 years): Admission will be based on ICET 2011 Ranks
2. M.A. Courses: Telugu/ Hindi/ Sanskrit/ English/ Vedic Astrology/ Philosophy/ Urdu/ Public Personnel Management / Sociology/ Economics/ Political Science/ Public Relations / History/ Psychology.
3. M.Sc. Mathematics / Statistics
4. B.A.
5. B.A. Mathematics and Statistics
6. B.Com General / B.Com Computers
7. BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration)

PG Diploma Programs:

1. Mathematics/ Business Management/ Sports Management / English Language Teaching.
2. Bioinformatics
3. Computer Applications/ Wellness Management/ Telecom Software.

Eligibility and Application Procedure: Details of eligibility along with prospectus available at office of the PGRRCDE, OU, Hyderabad. Prospectus and application forms can also be obtained from designated Bank Branches of SBH, Andhra Bank and OU Press and Publications. Cost of application is Rs. 100.

1. Start of sale of applications: 18/07/2011
2. Last date for receipt of filled in applications:
A) For MBA and MCA: 10th September 2011 (10th November with late fee of Rs.250)
B) For MA/ M.Com/ M.Sc./ PG Diplomas: 10th October 2011 (10th December with late fee of Rs.250)
C) For BA/ Languages/ BA/ B.Com: 18th October 2011 (18th December with late fee of Rs.250)
D) Diploma IN Bioinformatics/ Computer Applications: 16th August 2011 (15th September 2011 with late fee of Rs.250)
