BRAOU Admissions 2011-12 for MA, M.Sc, MBA, MLISc, BPR, PG Diploma Courses

Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh) has issued notification for admission into M.A, MBA, M.Sc., M.Com, Diploma, PG Diploma, B.Li.Sc., M.LiSc, Bachelor of Public Relations and other Certificate Courses for the academic year 2011-12. BRAOU is offering MBA program based on ICET qualification. All the below mentioned programmes are offered in distance education mode only. The BRAOU is the first open university in India and all the courses are recognized by Distance Education Council, New Delhi. Most of the programmes are offered in Telugu and English Media. Following are details of courses and admission details.

Masters Programmes:

1) Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA): For ICET 2011 qualified candidates. Duration is 3 years.
2) M.A. - Political Science/ Economics / History / Public Administration/ Telugu/ Hindi/ Sociology/ English/ Urdu
3) M.Com
4) M.Sc.: Applied Mathematics / Psychology/ Mathematics/ Botany / Physics/ Chemistry/ Environmental Science / Zoology
4) Master of Library and Information Science (MLISc)
5) Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLISc)
6) Bachelor of Public Relations (BPR)

Diploma and Certificate Courses:

1) P.G.Diploma in Human Rights (PGDHR)
2) P.G.Diploma in Women’s Studies (PGDWS)
3) P.G.Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM)
4) P.G.Diploma in Environmental Studies (PGDES)
5) P.G.Diploma in Writing for Mass Media in Telugu (PGDWMMT)
6) P.G.Diploma in Business Finance (PGDBF)
7) Certificate Programme in Food & Nutrition (CPFN)

Eligibility Conditions for various Programmes:

1) For MBA: ICET 2010 Qualified candidates
2) For PG Courses (Arts and Social Sciences): Bachelors Degree in any discipline
3) For PG Courses in Sciences: Bachelors Degree with concerned subject.
4) For Diplomas: Bachelors Degree in any discipline
5) For Certificate Courses: Depends on the programme
