GITAM Hyderabad Business School M.Phil and Ph.D. Admissions 2011

Hyderabad Business School (HBS), a constituent institute of GITAM University, Hyderabad Campus has announced admission notification 2010- 2011 for M.Phil and Ph.D. Programmes for the year 2011-12. Both M.Phil and Ph.D. Programmes are offered in Full Time and Part Time modes. Gitam University is a leading deemed university in Andhra Pradesh. These programmes are good opportunity for working professionals and also those interested in research in management specialisations. Last date for the receipt of completed applications is 28th November 2011. Following are details of eligibility, course fee and application procedure:

Selection of the candidates will be based on merit in the qualifying / entrance examination. Admission to candidates with JRF (CSIR / UGC) / NET qualification) are open throughout the year. Candidates those enrolled for full time programmes should not undertake any other assignment. Candidates should apply separately for each programme. Applications should be accompanied with a DD for an amount of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) towards processing fee drawn in favour of GITAM University and payable at Hyderabad. Filled in application forms should reach the Director of HBS, GITAM University, Rudraram, Patancheru, Medak – 502 329.

Eligibility for M.Phil Full Time / Part Time: For full time course, applicants should have Post Graduate Degree with at least 55 percent marks in the concerned subject. Admission will be based on entrance test and preference will be given to candidates with UGC /CSIR NET qualification. For part time course, along with above mentioned candidates, teachers working in the constituent institutions of GITAM University or any other recognized universities and affiliated colleges with minimum one year of service can apply. Lecturers working in degree colleges and professional colleges with at least two years experience also can apply. Fee is Rs. 18,000/- for full time course and Rs. 18,000/- for 1st year and Rs. 12,000/- for 2nd year.

Eligibility for Ph.D. programme: Applicants should have PG in the concerned subject with minimum 55 percent marks. Preference will be given to candidates with M.Phil degree and UGC / CSIR NET / GPAT qualified candidates. Candidates with M. Phil. will be exempted from entrance test/ pre-Ph.D. examination. Candidates with relevant experience as prescribed by the university shall apply for part time Ph.D. programme.
