Intermediate Admissions 2011-12 for Disabled Candidates

Department of Welfare of Disabled and Senior Citizens, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh has announced notification for admission into Intermediate Course for the year 2011-12 in the Government Junior Colleges located at Kadapa, Eluru and Miryalaguda. Candidates with hearing and speaking disabilities are eligible for admission into these colleges and courses. They can also pursue vocational courses which will help them to settle in the career through self employment. Following are details of colleges, programmes offered in them and application procedure:

1) Government Junior College, Kadapa: MPC, BiPC, CEC, EWSEA (Electrical Wiring and Servicing of Electrical Appliances)
2) Govt. Junior College, Eluru, West Godavari district: MPC, BiPC, CEC, CGDM (Commercial Garment Design and Making)
3) Govt. Junior College, Miryalaguda, Nalgonda district: MPC, BiPC, CEC, Computer Graphics and Computer Science.

45 seats in each section are available in all the colleges. All the hearing and speech impaired (deaf and dumb) candidates with pass in 10th class / SSC are eligible to apply.

Interested candidates can obtain application forms from respective colleges and also from Assistant Director of District Disabled and Senior Citizens Welfare Office. Last date for the receipt of filled in application in respective colleges is 26thSeptember 2011.
