AP University of Law Ph.D., LLD Admissions 2011-12

Andhra Pradesh University of Law (APUL), Visakhapatnam has issued admission notification 2011 for Ph.D. and LL.D. Programmes for the academic year 2011-12.Ph.D. is offered in full time and part time mode. Admission will be based on the performance in written test. Interested candidates can download the syllabus and model papers from the University website at www.apulvisakha.org. Following are details of programmes, eligibility and application procedure:

1) Doctor of Philosophy in Law
2) Doctor of Philosophy in Social Sciences with Law
3) Doctor of Philosophy in Science or allied subjects with Law
4) Doctor of Philosophy in Human Rights Law

Educational qualifications: For full time programme, applicants should have a Master’s Degree in Law from any recognised University with minimum of 55 percent marks in the aggregate. For part time programme, candidates should be a Judge of any State High Court in India or Supreme Court of India with minimum 10 years of active practice. LLD: Applicants should have exceptional academic achievements in the field of law or inter-disciplinary subjects having interface with law. LLD is offered in part time mode only. Admission to both the programmes will be based on Entrance Examination only. Syllabus and model paper for the entrance examination are available on the website of the University at www.apulvisakha.org . Application forms also can be downloaded from the website. Filled in forms along with all necessary documents should be sent to 'The Registrar, A.P. University of Law, Palace Layout, Peda waltair, Visakhapatnam, 530017, A.P'. Last date for the receipt of completed applications is 15th November 2011.
