ANURCET 2011 for Ph.D in Nannaya University

Adikavi Nannaya University, Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh has issued notification for admission into Ph.D. Program in various diciplines. The Ph.D. programmes is offered in Full Time, Part-Time and Extramural modes for the academic year 2011-12. Admission to doctoral courses of Adikavi Nannaya University will be through an Entrance Test called ANURCET 2011 (Adikavi Nannaya University Common Entrance Test) to be conducted by the university. ANU is offering the research programme in the braod disciplines of Sciences, Management, Computers, Humanities etc. Following are details of eligibility and application procedure:

Eligibility Requirements: Candidates should have secured at least second class marks with not less than 55 percent in the Post Graduation or Masters Degree level to be eligible for ANURCET 2011. The SC and ST candidates need minimum 50 percent marks in the concerned subject or an allied subject.

Subjects in Ph.D.: Chemistry (Organic), Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Molecular Biology and Zoology), Earth Sciences (Geoinformatics, Geology and Geophysics), Computer Science, Management Studies, English and Mathematics (Pure and Applied). Selected candidates will have to attend for the course work which consists of following three papers:

Paper – I: Research Methodology
Paper – II: Advanced topics in the chosen subject
Paper – III: Special topics concerned with dissertation work.
