2) Nine Hyderabad based engineering colleges have joined hands with the Centre for Robotics & Embedded Systems Excellence (CRESE) to provide exposure to their engineering graduates on unique projects based on latest robotic applications. The CRESE is an arm of iCarnegie, powered by Carnegie Mellon University which has tied up with Technophilia Systems to launch this project. The colleges are Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology, Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Technology, Aurora's Technological and Research Institute, J.B. Institute of Engineering and Technology, Sri Indu College of Engineering and Technology, Lord's Institute of Engineering Technology, Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology, Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology and Vidya Vikas Institute of Technology. Engineering candidates from these colleges will get membership of CRESE for a fee of $100 for six months.
3) Andhra University, Visakhapatnam appears to have taken its students for a ride through halting admission process for distance education courses without any notice. The AU has abruptly stalled the admissions process various programmes offered under school of distance education. The AU also conducted a written test for Executive MBA programme offered for working professionals. but the final admissions have not taken place till the date. There seems to be no response from the officials at contact numbers mentioned on the prospectus for any inquiries by the candidates.
