AP Education Latest News 2011 - GITAM, OU, Edcet Info

1) Edcet 2011 Seat Allotments: Seat allotments for EDCET 2011 candidates under second and final phase counseling will be done on 12th November 2011. Edcet 2011 Convener Prof. Sudheer Reddy has announced the dates of edcet seat allotments. Those allotted seats will have to join the B.Ed Colleges as mentioned in the allotment order.

2) Ou - B.Ed. Annual Exams results: Osmania University has announced results of B.Ed regular course annual examinations. Results can be obtained from the university website at www.osmania.ac.in. 73 percent candidates passed in the examination out of a total of 17458 candidates.

3) OU PG Semester examinations: Special Semester Examinations of Osmania University Post Graduate Courses will commence from 22nd November 2011. Semester examinations of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students will be held till 8th December 2011.

4) JNTU, Hyderabad is conducting Teacher Training courses from 14th November 2011. The Academic Staff College Director, Prof. K Manjulavani informed that workshop will be conducted on 'Image, Video Processing and IT Applications' in the training programme.

5) Gitam University is conducting 'Campus to Corporate' competitions for Engineering candidates across the country. The competitions are targeted at improving employability, communication skills etc. Inter college competitions will be held from 13th November 2011. About 51 engineering students from Gitam University have cleared the first round of the competitions. Gitam University also started Engineering Club for its candidates.
