AP Education News - November 2011 - Edcet, OU, UGC NET, 10th Class Info

1) EDCET Second Phase Counseling 2011: Second and Final Phase Counseling Notification for EDCET 2011 has been announced by APSCHE, Hyderabad. The Counseling will be held till 5th November 2011. In Hyderabad city, the certificate verification will be held at Polytechnic Colleges in Ramanthapur and Maredpalli.

2) Admissions Department, Osmania University has announced that admission in Ph.D. in Engineering Courses to GATE candidates will be held without any entrance test. GATE qualified candidates need not attend for Ph.D. Eligibility Test 2012. The authorities have clarified that the Ph.D. Eligibility Test notification has been released without mentioning this clause and hence corrected.

3) Osmania University has announced that UGC - NET December 2011 Applications will be received till 8th November 2011. Candidates who paid the fee till 31st October can apply online and submit the application print outs at OU office on or before 8th November 2011.

4) The Government of Andhra Pradesh has extended the last date for receiving applications for 10th Class. The last date for the receipt of applications is 15th November 2011. Candidates can apply within deadline with a late payment fee of Rs. 100.
