IIRM International Diploma Admissions 2012-13

Institute of Insurance and Risk Management (IIRM) is a specialised institute for training and research in Insurance and Risk Management. IIRM Hyderabad is a joint initiative of Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA). The institute is offering well designed diploma courses in various specialisations in Insurance. The courses are targetted at producing skilled and talented man power that caters to the needs of insurance and allied sectors. Following are brief details of courses offered by IIRM for the academic year 2012-13:

1) The International PG Diploma in General Insurance
2) The International PG Diploma in Life Insurance
3) The International PG Diploma in Risk Management

Eligibility and Qualifications: Applicants should be Graduates in any discipline including Engineering. Candidates should have at least 50 percent marks. Applications from MBA, CA, ICWAI and CS qualified candidates are also acceptable. Candidates with PG qualification with minimum 50 percent marks also eligible even if they secure less than 50 percent marks at the Graduation level. Those candidates appearing for final year exams are also eligible to apply. Applicant's age must be below 30 years as on 01-07-2012.

PG Diploma courses of IIRM will commence from July 2012. Duration of each course is one year or two semesters. All these programmes are full time residential courses and selection will be based on performance in Interview. Interested candidates can download prescribed application forms from IIRM website at www.iirmworld.org.in . Last date for the receipt of completed applications is May 2012.
