MBA after B.Tech Mechanical Engineering

It is indeed good to note that you are clear about your immediate goals after B.Tech degree. Earning an MBA degree after your B.Tech makes you valuable for prospective employers. Your technical skills and managerial abilities would pave way for brighter career. MBA has several functional specializations and there are institutes offering sectoral specializations too. Hence it would help if you are also clear about what would be of interest to you.

After MBA you have the option of getting into either general management areas or functional management areas such as finance, marketing, human resources, operations management, etc. Depending on your aptitude and attitude, you may decide to pursue in the area of your choice. Career opportunities are good in both the areas.
