PSTU - Telugu University Distance Admissions 2011-12

Center for Distance Education, Potti Sriramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh) has announced notification for admission into various courses to be offered in distance mode for the year 2011-2012. The courses offered at the center are at the levels of UG, PG and Diploma and certificate programmes in music and languages. Interested candidates can download application forms and prospectus from Telugu University website at www.teluguuniversity.ac.in . Application forms can also be obtained from the Director, Center for Distance Education, Potti Sriramulu Telugu University, Nampally, Hyderabad. Cost of applications is Rs. 250. Fee should be paid in favour of 'Registrar, Potti Sriramulu Telugu University' and in the form of DD payable at Hyderabad. Following are details of programmes, eligibility and application procedure:

1. Post Graduation Courses: M.A. Astrology / Sanskrit/ssss Telugu/ English Language Teaching / MCJ - Integrated/ MCJ. Eligibility: Candidates should have Degree in any subject or discipline for all the courses except MCJ. Candidates with BCJ are eligible for MCJ.
2. Degree Courses: B.A. in Carnatic Music / Special Telugu; Qualification: Intermediate
3. PG Diploma Courses: PGD in Television Journalism / Jyothirvaasthu; Qualification: Degrees
4. Diploma in Light Music (anybody who can read and write) / Film Writing (10th class)/ Jyothisham (Intermediate).
5. Certificate Courses: Sangeetha Visaradha (all above 12 years) / Jyothisham / Modern Telugu (10th class).

All the Diploma and Certificate courses are offered in Telugu and English Media. M.A. Astrology, Sanskrit and Diploma in Jyothisham are offered in both Telugu and English and other courses are in Telugu Medium only. You can submit applications till 31-12-2011 with a late fee of Rs.100.
