Edu News- Earth Science Olympiad, OU, IIS and JNTU Exams 2011

1) The Geological Society of India (GSI), Hyderabad is conducting an entrance examination on 22nd January 2012 in 60 centers across the country to select students for participation in the 6th International Earth Science Olympiad (IESO) in Argentina during October 2012. 2) Osmania University has announced that the university will be changing the question paper of BA Economics. The new pattern of question paper will be issued for first, second and third year students of BA Economics (Telugu and English Media) from the academic year 2012-13. The university is also proposed to introduce project work in the curriculum.

3) Institute of Insurance Studies (IIS), Ameerpet has announced that the institute is conducting free computer classes from 28th December 2011. Candidates residing in the limits of GHMC and qualified in 10th class / SSC and aged above 14 years can apply for these free training programmes. 4) The JNTU Hyderabad has announced that all B.Tech and .Pharmacy examinations will scheduled for December 26, 2012 have been postponed and the revised dates of examinations will be announced later. On the other hand, JNTUH has completed spot admissions for M.Tech courses in regular and sponsored category for the year 2011-12. About 26 candidates joined in the spot admission session held on 22nd December 2011.
