1) LL.B.: Duration is 3 years. Eligibility: Applicants should have passed any degree with minimum 40 percent marks. The OU considers 39.5 percent and above marks as 40 percent marks. If a candidate secure 40 percent or more in B.Ed. or in the Post Graduate Degree will be considered even if he or she get less than 40 percent in Degree. Admissions to this course will be through LAWCET ranks.
2) LL.B.: Duration is 5 years. Candidates should have passed in Intermediate Examination or 10+2 of any other board with minimum 40 percent marks. SC and ST candidates need minimum 35 percent marks.
3) LL.M. (Regular): Duration of the course is 2 years. Specializations available in this course are Constitution Law, Labor Law, Public International Law, Mercantile Law, Crimes and Torts, Jurisprudence, Intellectual Property Rights, Alternative Dispute Resolution, International Trade and Economic Laws. Eligibility is LLB with at least 45 percent marks. Admission will be through PGLAWCET or PGLCET conducted for entry into Post Graduate Law courses in AP.
4) LL.M (Private Appearance): Duration is 2 years. Candidates can specialize in Constitution Law, Labour Law, Public International Law, Mercantile Law and Jurisprudence Crimes and Torts. Candidates should have LL.B degree along with minimum 3 years experience as practicing Advocates in Andhra Pradesh. They should be working as Judicial Officers with minimum three years regular service in AP. OU will conduct an entrance test for admission to this course.
5) PG Diploma Courses: Faculty of Law of Osmania University is offering two PG Diploma programmes. These are 1) PG Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights and PG Diploma in Cyber Laws. Duration of each course is one year. Candidates should pass in any degree with minimum 50 percent marks in Part II. There will be an entrance test for admission to PG Diploma in Cyber Laws. Any graduate can appear for this test.
6) Ph.D: Candidates can pursue Ph.D. in full time (3 years) or part time (4 years) modes. They should have finished Master’s degree in Law with minimum 55 percent marks.
