SVIMS Tirupati MD Admissions 2012-13

Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) Tirupati has announced admission notification for MD programme for the academic year 2012-13. SVIMS is a University established by an act of A.P. State Legislature and offering various UG and PG and Super Specialty courses in the discipline of Medicine. Following are details of programmes, seats and application procedure:

1) MD (Anaesthesiology) : Duration is 3 Years: Seats: 04
2) MD (Biochemistry) : Duration is 3 Years. Seats: 01
3) MD (Medicine): Duration is 3 Years . Seats: 02
4) MD (Microbiology) : Duration is 3 Years . Seats : 01
5) MD (Immuno Haematology and Blood Transfusion): Duration is 3 Years ; Seats - 01.
Qualification for all courses: MBBS and should have completed internship by 31/03/2012.

Application Procedure: Interested candidates can obtain application in person by submitting a Demand Draft for Rs.1600/- drawn in favour of The Director, SVIMS,
Tirupati. You can also get application by post by sending a Demand Draft of Rs.1,650/- along with self addressed request letter to The Registrar, SVIMS, Tirupati-517 507. OR you can download the application from the website http://svimstpt.ap.nic.in.

Important Dates:

1) Last date for issue and receipt of applications 16/01/2012
2) Date of Entrance Examination Time: 02/02/2012 at 10 AM
3) Display of Merit List : 03/02/2012
4) Date of counseling, payment of fee, submission of original certificates and bond : 04/04/2012
5) Second and Final Counseling: To be announced later on the website
6) Commencement of the course : 02/05/2012
7) Closure of admission 31/05/2012.
