Vignan Mahotsav 2012 of Vignan University

Vignan University's Vignan Mahotsav 2012 is arriving this time with much more extravaganza and fanfare. The annual youth festival conducted Vignan University, Vadlamudi (Guntur) has gained good popularity across the country. Vignan Mahotsav is a National Level Youth Festival of Vignan University to be conducted on 6th and 7th January 2012. The events include Technical Project presentation, Vignan Quest (Paper Presentation), Tech e-Zone, Mock GATE, CAT, GRE Examinations, Technical Quiz, Pharma Quiz, Cultural and Fine Arts Events. Sports events include Cricket, Tennis, Basket Ball, Volleyball among several other games. Following is the detailed schedule of Vignan Mahotsav 2012:

Vignan Mahotsav is aimed at promoting and showcasing the innate talents possessed by budding technical and other professionals studying across engineering colleges in AP and neighboring states. Students pursuing B.Tech, BE, MCA, MBA and Pharmacy courses are eligible to participate in this test. The festival provide competitive spirit in technical and non technical fields and offer a stimulated exchange of knowledge, skills and culture among students of various colleges.

The Vignan University is offering cash prizes worth Rs. 10 lakhs for winners in various categories such as Sports and Games, Technical Tryst, Literary Rendezvous, Fine Arts and Cultural Masti. There are special events for girl students such as Tennicoit, Throw Ball, Table Tennis and Chess. It is estimated that more than 10,000 students from various Engineering Colleges across the country will participate in the event. Registration Process: The entry is limited to the students of Engineering, Pharmacy, MBA and MCA Courses. There will be no entry fee for participation if the candidate registered before the last date of registration on 31st December 2011. Students can register with a fee of Rs .200 after the due date of registration. Free accommodation and food will be provided for registered participants. Participants have to produce college identity cards and bonafide certificates.
