Eligibility and qualifications for EDCET 2012: Candidates should have passed in B.A./ B.Com/ B.Sc./ BCA./ BBM with minimum 50 percent marks. Those candidates appearing for their final year examinations of qualifying degree are also eligible to apply. But they should produce the proof of qualification at the time of counseling.
Application Procedure: Candidates can submit applications for EDCET 2012 wither online or offline. Online applications will be accepted through official EDCET website at www.apsche.org, www.andhrauniversity.info or www.edcet2011.net. Cost of application is Rs. 150. Offline application forms can be obtained from AP Online centers or E-Seva Centers. These centers list is available on www.aponline.gov.in. Applications may also available at selected branches of Andhra Bank across the state and also at Head post offices along with post offices located in University campuses.
Important dates (Tentative):
1. Release of EDCET 2012 notification: First week of March 2012
2) Start of sale of EDCET 2012 applications at all main post offices, e-seva centers and Andhra Bank branches: March 2012.
3. Last date for the receipt of completed applications / online applications: March 2012.
3. EDCET 2012 Test date: 8th June 2012.
Edcet 2012 hall tickets can be downloaded from official website of EDCET 2012 or Andhra University website at www.andhrauniversity.info. The official links for this purpose may also be provided at www.apsche.org . EDCET 2012 results will be announced in June 2012 and counseling will commence from July 2012. There will be online counseling in which several stages such as certificate verification, entry of web options through internet and seats allotment are involved.
