Korukonda Sainik School Entrance Test - Results Info

Entrance Examination Schedule for Korukonda Sainik School, Vizianagaran, Andhra Pradesh has been announced for the year 2012-13. Admission to Class 6 and Class 9 are open for the year and the entrance test for the same will be held on 8th January 2012. There are 6 examination centers across the state for the exam. Hall tickets have been already dispatched to the eligible candidates.

About 2184 candidates will be appearing for the Korukonda Sainik School Entrance Examinations. Out of these, 1575 candidates are appearing for admission to 6th Class and 609 candidates are going to write the test for admission to 9th class. Entrance Test in Secunderabad center will be at Keys High School, near Secunderabad railway station, Secunderabad. Following are exam timings and schedule and results availability:

For Sixth Class:

1) Mathamatics Knowledge Test - For 100 marks (9 - 11 AM)
2) Language Eligibility Test - For 100 marks : 9 -11 AM
3) Intelligence Test - For 100 marks : 12- 12: 50 Noon

For 9th Class:

1) Mathematics - for 200 marks: 9 - 11: 30 AM
2) Science - for 75 marks: 9 - 11:30 AM
3) English - for 100 marks : 12 - 2 PM
4) Social Studies - for 75 marks : 12 - 2 PM

Results of the entrance exam will be displayed on the official website of the Korukonda School at www.sainikschoolkorukonda.org. The school is located at Vizianagaram and is known for good standards in education. Andhra Pradesh has recently get approval for another Sainik School in Chittoor district. There are 24 Sainik Schools in the country. These schools impart Military oriented education to the Cadets. All the schools are administrated by Sainik Schools Society, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, New Delhi.
