The Government has announced that there will be no examination on February 5 on the occasion of Milad-un-nabi and on February 19 due to VRO written examination and February 20th 2012 on the occasion of Shivaratri. Candidates will not be permitted to change their batch. But candidates who cannot attend the exam in the allotted batch because of participation in national sports can attend examination in another batch. It is also decided to re-schedule practical examinations in the colleges situate in the route of ‘Sammakka Saralamma Jatara' and the exams in that colleges will be held after the Jatara.
The BIE has appointed 11456 examiners to supervise practical examinations. Examiners are jumbled and they will not be allowed to conduct practical examination in their own college or college of the same management. Examiners will be changed every three days at a examination centre. The BIE will take measures for the re-verification of scripts if 25 percent of the students of any college secure 100 percent marks in practical examinations. Answer scripts of the students securing 27 to 30 marks may also be re-verified. The Intermediate Board also set up a control room with the telephone No 24601010 and also with a fax no 24655027 for any clarifications.
