BRAOU Hyderabad B.Ed. Special Education and CECE Admissions

Dr. BR Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU), Hyderabad has announced admission notification 2012-13 for B.Ed (SE) and CECE (Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education). B.Ed. (Special Education) is recognised by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Both these are professional courses offered in distance mode by the open University. Here are details of the programmes, fee, eligibility and application procedure:

1) B.Ed. (Special Education): Duration of the course is 2 years. The programme is offered in Telugu and English Medium. Eligibility: Applicants should have passed in BA/ B.Sc. / B.Com / B.Sc. (Home Science), BCA/ BBM/ BOL with minimum 45 percent marks. Those appearing for the final year examinations of these courses are also eligible. Age must be above 21 years as on 01-07-2011. Programme fee is Rs. 18000. Cost of application is Rs. 300.

2) CECE (Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education): This is a new programme offered in English Medium with a duration of two years. Candidates should have passed in 10+2 or higher examination. Age must be above 18 years as on 01-07-2011. Cost of application is Rs. 200.

Selection of the candidates will be through Entrance Examination to be held on 15-04-2012 from 10 -30 AM to 12-30 AM. Sale of applications will start from 9th March 2012 and last date for the submission of completed applications is 31st March 2012.
